General Christopher Musa, Nigeria’s Chief of Defense Staff, has laid forth a bold plan to address the nation’s insecurity, stressing that 2025 will be a watershed in the war against insurgency and other dangers.
“It is past time when you say they are coming from somewhere to come and attack somewhere,” General Musa stated in a video clip that Africa posted. Let’s head over to where they’re coming from. We have already addressed this with all of the commanders; going forward, we will pursue them wherever they may be. It is imperative that we eliminate this by 2025.
“Plateau state is the hope of mining,” he continued, adding that “it’s common for people to try to get you to come and be with them wherever you’re posted so that you can earn some money.
