The donation, organised by the Sunday Stephen Miram Orphanage, aimed to ensure widows in the community could celebrate the yuletide season with dignity.
Stephen emphasised his foundation’s broader mission, which includes supporting orphans, widows, and vulnerable children by providing education, healthcare, mentorship, and spiritual development.
“Today’s event marks yet another occasion where we are distributing rice as an end-of-year gesture of goodwill to families in need, ensuring the widows in our community can enjoy the yuletide season.
“Our mission at the orphanage is to provide a safe, loving, and supportive environment for orphans, widows, and vulnerable children, helping them grow emotionally, physically, and intellectually.
“We are committed to offering education, spiritual development, healthcare, and mentorship, empowering each child to become a self-sufficient and contributing member of society. Through our work, we strive to restore hope, dignity, and opportunities for a brighter future.”
His wife, Miram Stephen, also expressed gratitude to the Mountain of Fire Ministry for their unwavering support of the orphanage.
