Speaking to AIT, Timileyin recounted the events, saying:
“That day, I invited her to come to my house, so she came. She was asking me for transport money, and I said I didn’t have any. She still came. When she arrived, she was asking me for ₦3,000.
“I told her I didn’t have ₦3,000, that I was only managing myself. She said no problem; she would stay like that. She stayed, and I went to buy noodles.”
“She said she was hungry, and I told her to relax, that food was coming. She said no problem; she would wait for the food. She waited, but her body temperature started rising because she was hungry.”
“She asked me to prepare noodles for her. Then I asked her to show me who she was chatting with. That was how the whole thing started. I cut her neck inside the room. That was it.”
