Sowore made the accusation in a post on his official X handle on Thursday as he shared his encounter with a team of officers at a checkpoint along Ikeja Airport road.
As seen in the post, the 2023 African Action Congress (AAC) Presidential candidate approached the officers who ordered him to park.
Sowore slammed the officers for causing traffic on the road while challenging to call their boss.
“This one wey una dey cause traffic again. No be airport raid be dis. Make una commot for road. We are not parking. You are not supposed to be causing traffic at the airport.
“Make una calm down. I no dey park. Go and bring your Oga. This is an airport road. Go and bring your Commissioner.” Sowore said before driving off.
He would further accuse the Nigerian Police Force of extortion in the post on his X handle.
“Operation Resist @PoliceNG extortion on Nigerian highways!” He wrote.
