The Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) has executed the village head of Malam Boulamari in the Diffa region of Niger Republic.
The group published the images of the act, showing the summary execution of the traditional leader.
The execution is suspected to have been carried out as part of ISWAP’s ongoing campaign of terror in the region, targeted at local authorities and civilians accused of collaborating with the government or security forces.
