In a statement released on Friday, the commission confirmed that the arrests were made on Thursday.
According to the EFCC, the operation was prompted by credible intelligence suggesting that the apartment was being used as a “Yahoo academy” for training individuals in internet fraud and other illicit activities.
Items seized from the suspects included six luxury cars, laptops, and mobile phones.
