Samson expressed serious concerns about the nature of the murder, suggesting that the suspect might be involved in human parts trafficking. “I am suspecting him to be a human part trafficker because the way he prepared her body is meant for consumption,” he stated, highlighting the disturbing manner in which Ajayi allegedly dismembered Salome’s body.
Despite the horrific circumstances, Samson praised the local law enforcement for their handling of the case. He specifically commended the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) for his dedication and thoroughness. “He did tremendously well and I was shocked at his effort in this thing,” Samson said. He noted with appreciation that the investigation proceeded without financial assistance from the family, stating, “He started this work without any member of the family being there to fuel him, to pay for paper for case. He didn’t look for me for anything.”
