The case was heard on Thursday at the Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court.

Nwadigbo was arraigned by the Lagos State Police Command after being caught on camera assaulting a three-year-old pupil. The incident occurred on January 7 at Christ Mitot School in the Ikorodu area of Lagos, where Nwadigbo resides.

According to the prosecutor, ASP Raji Akeem, the teacher was filmed slapping and punching the young boy while teaching him to write numerals. The actions allegedly violated Sections 135 and 172 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
