Mr Amah has chosen Muhammadu Sanusi as his new Islamic name. The Emir charged him on pursuing Islamic knowledge to learn how to observe five daily prayers, obligatory fasting, pilgrimage and Zakat.

He also admonished him to maintain his sound character and obedience to his parents irrespective of their religious beliefs.

According to Emir Sanusi obedience to parents is obligatory upon every Muslims as long as it did not contradict Islamic teachings.

The Emir prayed to Almighty Allah to guide him to be among the best Muslims in the world.

KANO FOCUS recalled that Amah is the remarkable Divisional Police Officer in Nasarawa Local Government Area of Kano State who turned down a bribe offer of two hundred thousand dollars from armed robbery suspects to be let off the hook after stealing over three hundred million naira in a robbery operation.

Amah had in April 2022 handled a matter where a suspect identified as Ali Zaki arranged with armed robbers to trail and rob a Bureau D’Change operator he had met to change $750,000.

Amah was said to have been offered $200,000 through a bank staff to suppress the case after an investigation linked Zaki to the case. He, however, rejected the offer.
