Anthony Chiejina, the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of Dangote Group, confirmed the development in a statement on Thursday.
“Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the price of its Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) product to below ₦900 per litre to provide much-needed relief for Nigerians ahead of the holiday season,” Chiejina stated.
This price adjustment comes shortly after the refinery reduced the PMS price to ₦970 per litre on November 24.
The move is part of a broader strategy to ease transportation costs during the holiday season, demonstrating the refinery’s responsiveness to the needs of consumers.
Adding to the relief, the refinery introduced a unique consumer incentive. Customers who pay cash for every litre of petrol can purchase an additional litre on credit, supported by bank guarantees from Access Bank, First Bank, or Zenith Bank.
“To alleviate transport costs during this holiday season, Dangote Refinery is offering a holiday discount on PMS. From today, our petrol will be available at ₦899.50 per litre at our truck loading gantry or Single Point Mooring (SPM) facility,” Chiejina said.
He further stressed the refinery’s dedication to delivering high-quality, environmentally-friendly petroleum products at competitive prices, contributing to a healthier and more efficient market.
Chiejina also highlighted the transformative impact of the refinery, which has ended Nigeria’s dependence on substandard and blended imported fuel products.
These low-quality imports have long posed risks to health, machinery, and the environment. ...CLICK HERE TO READ THE FULL ARTICLE➤
